A local fire destroys two cars and damages a garage. The Yuma Fire Department said the blaze started Tuesday afternoon on the 2700 block of West 28th Place. Firefighters quickly knocked down the flames in the home's garage.

Two grandparents, a father and his 11-year-old son were in the home at the time of the fire. Both of the adult men were taken to Yuma Regional Medical Center after being exposed to smoke. This after firefighters said the men tried to remove one of the cars and other items out of the garage.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
