Aisha Morales joined the KYMA news team in March 2012. Although she was born in Michigan, she has spent the majority of her life in Arizona and came from Surprise, Arizona about 45 minutes from Phoenix.

She received her Bachelors in Broadcast Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.

There she was able to gain experience in producing a live newscast (KAET-PBS Newswatch) as well as reporting and anchoring. Aisha also interned at Fox10 in Phoenix.

Aisha was somewhat shy as a child but was very involved in school programs and leadership activities. When she isnt in the news room she likes to spend time with family and friends. Her hobbies include reading and shopping!

Aisha is bilingual and speaks Spanish. If you have any good story ideas she would love to hear them!
