Christi joined the KYMA news team in August of 2011. She came to Yuma from Chicago, almost 2,000 miles away!
          
She studied at Columbia College Chicago where she earned her degree in journalism.  As a junior, she was lucky enough to intern at her longtime favorite station WGN-TV. There, she worked  with award-winning entertainment journalist Dean Richards. She met countless celebrities and politicians and even interviewed a few movie stars.  

When she's not in the newsroom or out in the field, Christi enjoys going to the movies, taking dance classes, talking with her family and shopping of course. And whenever there's a sports game, she will always root for her beloved Bears and Bulls teams.

After much prayer she has made Yuma her home. She loves hearing great story ideas so if you have one, let her know!
