Milrose Basco is a general assignment reporter for News 11 covering stories in the Imperial Valley. She knows the valley well having worked as the bureau chief for the local CBS affiliate six years ago.

She joined News 11 in March 2012. Before joining KYMA, she has worked in various stations throughout California including a stint at KCBS in Los Angeles and most recently she worked at KSBW Action News 8 in Salinas. Milrose has held various newsroom positions during her career, including that of News Director.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from San Diego State University.
Milrose enjoys singing and has sung the national anthem for President Clinton, Major League Baseball teams in California and continues to cantor at the church she attends.
