The conference will be a full day of educational opportunities for anyone that works with the senior population. The conference will feature three learning tracks: Caregiver, Elder Abuse, and General Aging, in order to include topics for a variety of participants including law enforcement, family caregivers, nurses, and social workers. Keynote speakers include Dr. Matthew Huentelman of the Translational Genomics Research Institute, who will discuss the latest findings concerning Alzheimer’s disease and Kathy Sykes, Senior Advisor at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency who will present on how our environment affects aging. Registration is $100. Registration for seniors, family caregivers, and students with a valid college ID is only $50.
