WACOG Region IV Conference on Aging

Western Arizona Council of Governments Area Agency on Aging is hosting a Conference on Aging on January 31, 2013 at the Pivot Point Conference Center in Yuma.  The conference will be a full day of educational opportunities for anyone that works with the senior population.   The Conference will feature three learning tracks:  Caregiver, Elder Abuse, and General Aging, in order to include topics for a variety of participants including law enforcement, family caregivers, nurses, and social workers. Early bird registration is $75 and closes on January 2^nd.  Registration for seniors, family caregivers and students with a valid college ID is only $50.  Family Caregiver scholarships are available and applications are accepted through January 11^th.  Conference sponsors are AARP, Regional Center for Border Health, Inc., Cenpatico, Corona Optique and contributing partner, Alzheimer’s Association Desert Southwest Chapter.     Contact Meghan Schwab at 928-217-7158 or meghans@wacog.com to register today!
