DESCRIPTION:Las Posadas Event at Immaculate Conception Church Come and join us as we celebrate “Las Posadas”.This Hispanic tradition is the reenactment of Mary and Joseph in search of shelter as they prepare for the birth of Jesus. The evening will be filled with singing by Immaculate Conception Church Religious Education Students & Matachines Dancers. Many traditional Mexican food dishes will be available for purchase. This event will be held on Thursday December 20. La Posada procession begins in front of Immaculate Conception Church (505 S Avenue B) at 6:30pm and ends in Saint Anne’s hall with the placing of the baby Jesus in the manger.
