SUMMARY:Spirit of Yuma
DESCRIPTION:Our third annual Spirit of Yuma this coming Friday the 11th of January starting at 10:00 a.m. running through the 13th and ending at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Our event honors our military veterans and active military personnel. Located in Historic Main Street where you will find vendors and food vendors lined up on Main Street. We will have a beer garden open on Friday and Saturday on 3rd Street. Chuck Wullenjohn\, Bill Heidner\, and Tina Clark will be speaking on our military history in Historic Yuma Theatre on Friday and Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m. There will be a movie showing on Friday and clips of the F-35 in Historic Yuma Theatre. A variety of free entertainment and demonstrations during our event. Extensive display of art from our military personnel that will be displayed for six weeks in our Yuma Art Center. Army Quintet Band performances at various times during the three days. Mayor Kreiger will be introducing our military dignitaries on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Come on down lots to do during our three days.
