Mark comes to KSWT with an unusual depth and breadth of a previous career in business. He spent more than twenty-five years in the financial services industry, the software industry and business consulting. While in the investment industry, he eventually rose to a senior level position. As a business consultant, he worked with companies and organizations both in the U.S. and in Europe.
Raised in Southern California, he attended Brigham Young University where he earned a multi-discipline B.A. degree in University Studies, focusing on Organizational Behavior/Psychology, Speech Communications/English, and Political Science. While in college, he was active in student politics and campus organizations.
After college, Mark moved to the Phoenix area where he enjoyed raising his two daughters and a son. While there, he served his community as an appointee to numerous city committees and served on the boards of several non-profit organizations. He is an active member of his church and has been a volunteer in the Boy Scouts of America.
In his free time, Mark loves to golf, ski, watch college football and serve in the community.
Mark has always had a passion for the broadcast news. Over the years, while building his business career, he had been encouraged by friends in the television broadcast industry to pursue his passion. In 2017, Mark decided to realize his dream and became a television news reporter. He now joins the professional news team at KSWT as the 6 p.m and 10 p.m. anchor.
