Arizona Western Colleges "Majors Fair"

Yuma,Arizona - Arizona Western College invited high school seniors to show what they have to offer their future.

The Arizona Western College "Majors Fair" is open to incoming freshmen and current college students to showcase the different majors the college has to offer for their future. AWC offers over 100 degrees and certificates in person, online, and via (ITV) Interactive television network.Students were eager to learn about the different education paths being offered and even had an opportunity to plan financially and academically with college advisors.

AWC Coordinator of Career and Services, Mel Parker, says it's the perfect timing for a student to plan ahead for their educational career.

"It's one-stop center for a present or prospective student at AWC."

The "Majors Fair" is only offered once a year, on the last Wednesday in November in an effort to get students ready for their Transfer Event in March 2018.
