Bank Robbery reported at Wells Fargo

YUMA, Ariz. - Yuma Police officers are investigating a reported bank robbery on Saturday.

 

The reported bank robbery happened at the Wells Fargo at 2507 South Avenue B at around 12:20 p.m., according to police. 

 

A woman walked into the bank and handed the bank teller a note demanding money, police said. The bank teller handed the suspect an undisclosed amount of money in return. 

 

The suspect, who is described as a white or light skinned Hispanic female, around 5'3-5'5 and 180-200 pounds with green eyes. She was wearing a black head wrap, dark colored sleeveless shirt, blue jeans and was carrying a black purse, left the building in an unknown direction, according to police. 

 

No one was injured during the Robbery. The case is still under investigation.
