WELLTON, Ariz. - The Wellton Police Department said a man is now facing first degree murder charges after he killed his grandmother.
According to WPD, Victor Manuel Bravo Jr. attacked his grandmother Saturday. Police say the attack was initially as a fall.
When paramedics and firefighters arrived they saw signs inside the home that prompted them to call the Wellton Police Department.
The victim died from her injuries Tuesday morning.
According to court documents obtained by News 11, the victim suffered from a broken nose. Those same court documents say the weapon used during the attack was a picture frame. WPD would not comment on that.
Court documents also state that Bravo has a history of domestic violence offenses, and that this was at least his third domestic violence offense in the past 48 months.
Bravo is being held on $1 million bond. He is facing a laundry list of charges, including first degree murder and several domestic violence charges.
