YUMA, Ariz. - The Gila Ridge girls soccer team was looking for some much needed momentum before their mid-season break; after losing three straight matches, including a lop-sided loss at Kofa.
Casa Grande wouldn't make it easy for them, at least in the 1st half; as both teams traded goals before going to halftime.
The Hawks would come out aggressive in the 2nd half, as the match would open up where both sides would get their chances.
Ridge would finally break thru, when Senior Katie Gronbach forced a turnover and then drove in the go ahead goal just seconds afterward.
Kylee House would later score the Hawks 3rd goal, and putting the visitors away in a 3-1 victory.
Gila Ridge will next host Youngker on Wednesday before playing their next game in early January.
