13 On Your Side wants to know your thoughts:

The United States is one of the largest food producers in the world, largely in part to the use of modern pesticides that  combat insects and other organisms threatening food supply. Here in the Desert Southwest pesticides are a part of life and are used on agriculture fields all around us. These chemicals are delivered in a variety of ways from crop dusting planes and helicopters to specially equipped tractors.

But, in the end these chemicals are poisons used to kill insects and many fear that these elements pose a very possible threat to our health. Many fear that pesticides can become airborne and affect neighboring populations.
