LAS CRUCES, New Mexico - Attorney General Jeff Sessions is scheduled to speak at a conference for border sheriffs on Wednesday in Las Cruces.
Sessions will speak at a conference for the Southwestern Border Sheriff's Coalition. The coalition is composed of 31 sheriffs who oversee counties within 25 miles of the U.S. - Mexico border.
Sessions plans to speak about immigration enforcement, according to a spokeswoman with the Department of Justice.
Yuma County Sheriff Leon Wilmot will be present at the conference.
The attorney general is expected to speak at 1:30 p.m. at the Ramada Las Cruces Hotel and Conference Center.
