Yuma Border Patrol Agents recover stolen motorcycle

YUMA, Ariz. - Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents arrested a 24-year-old Yuma man riding a stolen motorcycle Friday evening.

The man failed to yield to agents during a traffic stop.

Agents patrolling near the U.S./Mexico border and Avenue F attempted to stop the man on the motorcycle, but the 24-year-old failed to yield and fled into a lettuce field before abandoning the motorcycle.

Agents continued their pursuit of the man on foot before finally apprehending him.

Record checks conducted on the motorcycle revealed that it had been stolen the day before.

Agents later turned the man and motorcycle over to the Yuma Police Department.
