Arizona found its replacement for Lute Olson — and it didn't even have to leave the Pac-10.

Tim Floyd will leave USC to accept the Arizona position, according to a report from Mark Asher of Sports 620 KATR in Phoenix.

Floyd met Wednesday with Arizona athletic director Jim Livengood to work out the details. Anm announcement is expected Thursday.

Lute Olson retired as coach at Arizona prior to the start of the season. Arizona advanced to the Sweet 16 with interim coach Russ Pennell.

Floyd spent the last four season with the Trojans. He was 85-50 in that time, including three NCAA tournament appearances.

More details to come.
