DPS says incident not a car crash, nobody hurt
A traffic backup on Interstate 8 in Yuma had many drivers thinking a car crash had occurred Friday night, but the Arizona Department of Public Safety says that was not the case.
According to authorities, a truck spilled an unidentified object onto the roadway near Fortuna Road. The accident happened at about 4 P.M. MST and crews worked into the night to get the mess cleared away.

The state of Arizona filed an appeal on SB 1070 and Governor Jan Brewer vowed to battle the decision to the bitter end.
