Officers screened more than 500 vehicles along 24th street last night. One person was booked for aggravated drunk driving, another for possession of dangerous drugs.

Police arrested a third person for possession of marijuana and a fourth for driving on a suspended license. The checkpoint was paid for through a grant for the Arizona Governors' Office of Highway Safety.
