Arizona Governor Jan Brewer got some big Republican backing on the campaign trail in Phoenix Saturday. Coming to Arizona's defense, Sarah Palin made an appearance at the campaign event.

Both women talked about border security and backed the state's controversial immigration law. As Govnenor Brewer seeks her first full term in office, several cities have called for a nationwide boycott on Arizona. This after Brewer signed the law three weeks ago that would crackdown on illegal immigrants.

Palin joined Brewer to launch a national effort to educate America about the need to secure U.S. borders and encourage support for Arizona. They say President Barack Obama has failed to take these actions.

"Our purpose today is to help the rest of nation understand the crisis which confronts our state. Our nation's government is broken. Our border is being erased and the President considers it a wonderful opportunity to divide people along racial lines for his personal, political convenience," Brewer said.

'Its time for Americans across this great country to stand up and say 'we're all Arizonans now' and in clear unity we say 'mister President do your job. Secure our border," Palin said.
