Earthquake rattles Desert Southwest
According to the U.S. Geological Survey a 4.9 magnitude quake hit at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
The earthquake was centered in Baja California, 14 miles southwest of Seeley. The Imperial County Office of Emergency Services says there were no calls or reports of damage.
The Imperial Valley area has been rocked by a series of earthquakes and temblors after a 7.2 earthquake struck the area on this year on Easter Sunday.
