Arizona Western College signed two new recruits for the 2010 season this week as quarterback JT Adams and linebacker Cody Johnson were signed out of Central Union High School in the Imperial Valley (CA).

As a senior, Adams threw for over 2000 yards, with 19 TDs and 6 INTs. Meanwhile, Johnson played on both sides of the ball. As a fullback, he ran for 956 yards and 14 TDs (both were team highs for the season). He also led the team in tackles (141) at the linebacker position.

Both players helped the Spartans reach the CIF two consecutive years, capped off by scoring their school its first playoff win since the 2007 season.
