Arizona Wester College's solar installation project is up for a prestigious award.

Renewable Energy World magazine has nominated AWC's 23-acre solar installation for the Excellence in Renewable Energy Awards.

AWC is up against four other finalists in the solar category, but only one can be the project of the year.

Winners are determined by popular vote, voting closes January 20th.

The Winners be announced February 14th.
