(YUMA, AZ) - After winning the first outright state title in city history, Yuma Catholic finally got what they had been waiting for since late November.

The Rocks got "rocks" for their ring fingers.

Players from the championship team each received rings personalized with their name and number. Coaches, faculty, and support staff were also awarded championship rings for their contributions, as well.

"This is probably the best banquet we've ever had," said head coach Rhett Stallworth. "As a coach, getting your championship ring, things like that...I hope there is many more to come."

The team also handed out individual awards to players and coaches. Senior Ryan Gill was named the team's most valuable player, while senior Everett McKinney was awarded "Most Improved Player.
