Gila Ridge wins at the Palace!
The Yuma Criminals volleyball team has struggled in the first several games of the season, only able to come up with one win. The home court advantage on Thursday night wouldn't be enough to get win number two against Gila Ridge.
The Lady Hawks won the match in three sets by the scores of 25-14, 25-19, and 25-15. Senior Anahi Torres led the team with 10 digs. Meanwhile, Senior Nikki Kelland gave the Crims problems all night with 8 kills. Senior Setter Jordan Northrup did some damage on the evening as well, racking up 7 serving aces.
The Lady Hawks and the Lady Criminals will renew acquaintances next Tuesday night at Gila Ridge.
