AWC Soccer racks up another win!
Although the first half of the match was a scoreless stalemate, the Matadors took advantage of a key penalty situation to defeat Glendale by the score of 2-0.
Arturo Valle would become the star of the match, scoring the first goal of the game at the 72nd minute on a penalty kick. Valle would strike again with his second and the last goal of the match, scoring in the 79th minute.
Matadors head coach Kenny Dale said he felt great about his team's composure throughout this low scoring match. The team giving a clinic on game managment, holding Glendale to only 8 shots on the match. The Mats will next go to Tucson to take on Pima Community College this Saturday.
