This is the fourth stabbing in the past five weeks. Police continue to say that the public is not in any harm because most of the people involved in the stabbing know one another.
But in this case the victims aren’t cooperating a whole lot. El Centro Police still aren’t sure if the victims know the suspects involved in this stabbing.
"The victims aren’t giving us any information about what it was that occurred or why this event occurred," El Centro Police Commander Jeff Mason said.
It happened early Sunday morning at 1:30 on the 500 block of Euclid Avenue. The three victims were in the front yard of one of the victims home.
"The only lead that we have right now is the fact that it’s a four door car. It’s dark in color and we are somewhere between three or four suspects exiting that vehicle," Mason said.
Police say the victims aren’t revealing if they know the suspects. News 11 spoke with a neighbor who didn’t want to speak on camera and he says he didn’t hear anything that morning.
"We are looking at this at possibly being a gang related incident but then again until we get the victim’s cooperation in this matter we’re not going to know that for certain," Mason said.
The two victims were treated at the nearby hospital and the third victim refused to be treated.
Police say they aren’t releasing the victims names yet.
