Padres fall on the road
Looking for a positive ending to a season of struggling, the San Diego Padres would like nothing better than to win in Milwaukee in the last three games of this year's campaign.
In the second inning, San Diego had a scoring threat that ended quickly when Yonder Alonso grounded into a double play. The following innning, Pads pitcher Clayton Richard hits his first homerun of the season. That would even the score at one apiece.
After that, Richard would give up a couple of homeruns that would wind up putting the game out of reach for San Diego. Brewers win 5 to 3.
