According to the Centers for Disease Control, the outbreak has spread to more than 60 people in nine states.

The Meningitis outbreak has been linked to a steroid produced by a specialty pharmacy in Massachusetts. The steroid has been recalled. The pharmacy is working with health officials to notify anyone who may have been injected with the steroid.
