Border agent remembered as loving father, husband

SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (AP) — A U.S. Border Patrol agent killed in an apparent friendly fire shooting with two other agents is being remembered as a family man who loved his job and his colleagues.
His funeral was held today in Sierra Vista, Ariz.
Agent Nicholas Ivie was killed Tuesday as he and other agents responded to a sensor alarm aimed at detecting smugglers crossing into the U.S.
The shooting occurred at night about five miles north of the border near Bisbee, Ariz.
