Cardinals Hit with a Key Injury
The Arizona Cardinals will be without the services of running back Ryan Williams for at least three months. This is due to a shoulder injury that the Red Birds leading rusher suffered in Thursday night's loss at Saint Louis; according the Arizona Republic.
The injury didn't appear serious at the time it happened, but the team says he will need immediate surgery and the recovery process will take at least the rest of the season.
On top of Beanie Wells missing the next five weeks with a turf toe injury, the Cards have three other running backs in the lineup who haven't produced much this season. Their combined 15 carries has only produced 10 total yards.
