Two women testified in the Preston Strong trial Tuesday.

One of them testified that she went on a blind date with Dr. Satinder Gill months before he was murdered while the other is the ex-wife of his medical partner.

Robin Gogte was married to Sedir Gogte when he worked with Dr. Satinder Gill.

Gogte testified Tuesday in a taped interview with the prosecution and defense from her home in Tombstone, Arizona, because she is still recovering from a neck surgery.

When gill was murdered Gogte said she and her husband did everything they could to help police seek answers in their investigation.

Some witnesses have testified that Dr. Gill had a crush on Preston Strong’s girlfriend at the time, Adriana Osuna.

Gogte says it was something Osuna was aware of but she didn’t feel same and didn’t want to hurt his feelings.

The day of the murder Gogte's daughter, Stephanie Bear, testified that she had cashed a check for Dr. Gill for $24,000 after he called her and told her it was for a family emergency.

Bear testified that he then took the check from her at his front door and quickly brushed her away. Gogte said bear called her the day after, saying she found his request to be suspicious. Gogte tried to call his cell phone when a woman answered saying she found it on 16th street.

Gogte then told bear to call the police. She says Sedir had left to go back to India when she called him to tell him about Gill's death. She told prosecutors his response made her angry.

Just before noon Tuesday, the defense made a motion to recall an expert to the witness stand to clarify her finding on the internet activity on Dr. Gill's computer the day of his murder.

If granted by the judge, the defense could take longer to wrap their case which was expected to happen this week.
