The Yuma man who police said beat a woman with a frying pan last week was back in court Monday afternoon.
Dylan Escalanti was in court to hear what charges prosecutors filed against him.
Escalanti is now facing four separate felony offenses which include three counts of attempted 1st degree murder per domestic violence.
Police alleged Escalanti beat a woman with a frying pan and attacked her with a knife with full intent to kill her on Tuesday, October 23rd.
Escalanti also faces one count of kidnapping. The court document stated Escalanti held the victim in his apartment against her will.
Based on new information submitted to the court, the judge agreed with state prosecutors to raise Escalanti's bond from $500,000 to $1 million.
Escalanti will be back in court next week for a preliminary hearing.
