The Salvation Army Red-Kettle Cook-off is brining out plenty of people throughout Yuma to celebrate the holidays which are just around the corner.

All the festivities were in front of Harkins Theater Saturday, where families were welcomed by numerous informational booths, and early holiday spirit.

Numerous performances happened such as the Salvation Army Bass Band and Miss Yuma County 2013 sang Christmas songs.

Yuma mayor Al Krieger attended the event and announced a proclamation.
