"The witnesses to the event have been speaking with our detectives developed some leads and the suspect was poitively identified," El Centro Police Commander Jeff Mason said.

Mason says andrade is the sole suspect and was arrested in his home in Heber.

Andrade has been in and out of jail for various crimes. He’s being held on $1 million bail and is charged with the murder of Garza.

According to police the two had attended a party over the weekend near 7th Street in El Centro and that’s where Garza was stabbed early Sunday morning.
