Movies with Mitch

A little less than a month remaining in the regular season and the Cibola Raiders are looking to ride a tide of momentum that would potentially take them into postseason play. Lately, that's been tough to find. Losing four out of their last five, they knew hosting the Perry Pumas would be a chance to get a spark.

Early on, it looked like they had just that. The Raiders dominated the first half with a 31 to 12 performance. Then the second half resembled the Buffalo Bills comeback against the Houston Oilers in the famous football playoff game in the 1990's. Only this time, the Perry Pumas outscored Cibola 55 to 36 to take it to overtime.

In the end, the Raiders couldn't get the momentum back. They lost by the score of 82 to 76. Senior Jordan Mitchell led Cibola with 28 points while fellow senior Steven Loucks took in 15 points of his own.
