The 10th seeded San Luis Sidewinders had an outstanding regular season and they weren't ready to bow out of the playoffs just yet. When they entered the Division 1 AIA Playoffs drawing 7th seeded Alhambra, they knew they had a chance to win.

That chance came with only 10 minutes in the game while they trailed 3 to 2. Within that span of time, the Sidewinders tacked on two goals and now find themselves advancing to the quarterfinal round. They will square off against number 2 seed Corona del Sol this Saturday.

Meanwhile, the Kofa Kings fell short by one goal in their opening round loss to Gilbert.
