YPD Responds to False Bomb Threat

Yuma police responded to a call of a possible bomb at a business near the Century Plaza lot around 3:40 p.m. Friday.
YPD officials said someone called the business and then called police about the threat.
As a precaution police evacuated some of the surrounding businesses.
Police sent in a robot to search the area but did not find any bombs or other types of explosives.
Police also performed a man search but it turned up empty.
YPD stated they will continue to investigate the threat by tracking phone numbers to see who made the original call of the threat.
