Winners of seven straight, the Cibola Raiders were looking to put an exclamation point on the season by trying to extend that streak and earn a spot in the sectional playoffs next week.

Cibola started fast against Kofa and kept the pace the rest of the way. Their 62 to 49 win puts their overall record at 19 and 8 and an unblemished region record. Cibola senior Brent Boyer led the way with 13 points and 8 rebounds; while his teammate and fellow senior Jordan Mitchell took in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists on the night. The Raiders await their playoff seeding fate for next week.
