The fight happened minutes after midnight on Sunday at Kashmir Night Club in imperial.

Imperial police weren't available for comment but in their press release it says Kashmir security held Daniel Romero aside after he got into a fight.

When police arrived, Romero was unresponsive.

Emergency Medical Services rushed him to El Centro Regional Medical Center where he died.

A stabbing took place in 2009 when the nightclub was called My Buddy’s Place.

The new owner says he’s waiting for more information from police and Romero’s autopsy.

Imperial Police still haven’t arrested any suspects but they say some employees are persons of interest.
