Federal agents from the U.S. and Mexico have shut down a partially finished drug smuggling tunnel.

It was discovered along the Arizona-Mexico border in Nogales on Friday during a bi-national border sweep.

Mexican authorities caught a man digging the tunnel and arrested him on the spot.

The tunnel extended five feet into the U.S. from Mexico but did not reach the surface.
