The Pima County Medical Examiner has released the results of the autopsy of a baby's body found in the Somerton Recycling Plant.
According to the documents the baby boy was growing normally with no signs of any health issues.
The umbilical cord was still attached to the 20-week-old fetus and there was no evidence of trauma. However, there was a gash on the right side of his head.
The report also stated that the boy was found mixed in with plastic bags stained with red fluid, leftover food, a soda can and several small boxes. Those items were submitted as evidence in the ongoing investigation.
The Cause of Death was listed as "Undetermined." The body of the baby was found Valentine's Day morning by workers at the Somerton Recycling Plant while they were sorting through recyclables.
