Jeffery Allen miller appeared in Yuma County court Monday afternoon, where he was formally charged with two felony counts.
The 36-year-old has been charged with hindering prosecution during the investigation into the killing of Christal Figueroa, as well as tampering or destroying evidence related to the case.
His bond remains at $185,000.
Two other suspects tied to the Figueroa murder case appeared in court Monday, including Brandi Michalski.
Her defense attorney filed a plea of not guilty on her behalf.
Prosecutors claim that although Michalski did not kill Figueroa, she did hinder prosecution and tampered with evidence, saying she tried to hide one of the guns used in the murder.
Accused killer Jose Jimenez also appeared, and the courts entered a plea of not guilty.
The 31-year-old is being charged with first degree premeditated murder of the Wellton mother of three.
A fourth suspect in the case, 20-year-old Jorge Rios of San Luis was also arrested and appeared in court over the weekend.
He was questioned and released concerning his involvement in the murder case, but is now facing charges unrelated to the killing.
