The Better Business Bureau website currently rates the Gama Automotive dealership in Yuma with an "F" grade.
Friday, News 11 first brought you this consumer watch report, and since then, we have received dozens of comments and calls from viewers who say they have had similar unsatisfactory experiences with the dealership.
Randi Moore told News 11 that she purchased a vehicle with Gama Automotive last year.
"There were some things that were wrong with it. And they wrote it down on a "we owe you" slip. We had to pretty much get angry with them to have them fix the pump in the back so we could travel," Moore said.
However, she said they did not fix the other repairs they promised her.
Moore said when she and her family moved and drove their vehicle across the country, the oil pan busted.
She took it to a dealership to have it fixed, thinking she would use her after-market warranty she purchased at Gama Automotive, which she had been paying for three months.
"The warranty company said, 'We have no warranty.' So we called Gama, and Gama told us that the warranty was never submitted, and they didn't know why, what happened," Moore said.
While she waited for Gama Automotive to resolve the problem, her vehicle sat in a dealership, out of service, for nearly a month.
"We were calling them five, six times a day to try to get them to pay out of pocket for the repairs that needed to be done, because it was their fault they didn't submit the warranty," Moore said.
Moore said Gama Automotive finally paid for the repair of the oil pan, but they have yet to pay for any other promised repairs.
News 11 has stopped by Gama Automotive, but no one was willing to speak on camera and they had no comment on the matter. We have also left voicemail messages that have yet to be returned.
