A man who was arrested earlier this week in connection to a shooting incident in the Yuma Foothills was released from jail this evening.
On Monday, Victor Medina was arrested after the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office received reports of gunshots on South Avenue 9E.
Medina was arrested for being a prohibited possessor, but today in court was told state prosecutors needed more time to review his case.
With no charges pending against Medina, the judge was forced to release him.
Medina could still be charged later in connection with the incident.
