Star Arizona Wildcat Running Back Ka'Deem Carey now has a clean slate. According to the Arizona Republic, all charges against Carey in a domestic violence case are dropped.
The Tucson native faced misdemeanor assault and disorderly conduct charges in a domestic violence incident involving his ex-girlfriend back in December.
The initial charges stemmed from the woman who claimed that Carey shoved his way into her room, knocked her to the floor and slammed her fingers in a door.
A news release by the city of Tucson made this statement about the case against Carey; "a key witness for the prosecution is unavailable, and even if the witness were available, there is no substantial likelihood that a judge would convict Mr. Carey."
