Border patrol agents from the Yuma sector have arrested a man convicted of murder.
U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Yuma Sector arrested an aggravated felon near San Luis, Ariz., Sunday.
The man, a Mexican National, was one of 13 immigrants caught illegally crossing the Colorado River into the U.S.
Background checks revealed the man was convicted of murder in Huntsville, Texas.
In addition, the man had been convicted of other crimes in San Antonio, Laredo, Brownsville, and in the state of Pennsylvania.
His case will be turned over to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
