Ten days have passed since the Matadors El Toro Bowl loss, but the NJCAA is passing along some individual recognition.
This week, the athletic organization announced it's 2013 football All-Americans. Three matadors made the list.
Freshman sensation Antonio Kinard earned first team honors. The linebacker led the mats with 106 tackles; 16 and half of them were for a loss.
Sophomore offensive lineman Akoakoa Paleka-Kennedy also made the first team. And defensive back Myrick Gwynn got an honorable mention. He had 65 tackles on the season.
