Arizona health officials say the flu is now widespread in the state.
So far cases have increased by 50 percent this week alone.
That's causing substantial wait times at several hospitals emergency departments.
Earlier this week YRMC started temporary visitor guidelines due to the flu. The same was done at El Centro Regional Medical Center.
ECRMC says it wants residents to know they are not closed. They do have restrictions hospital wide and are limiting one visitor per patient, in order to avoid spreading new flu cases valley wide.
