Veteran’s Appreciation Service at Faith Baptist Church

Sunday morning at Faith Baptist Church, they honored all who served in times of war and in times of peace. It was a Veteran’s Appreciation service where they celebrated the 50th Commemoration of the Vietnam War. Each branch of the military were presented with Commemorative coins and patriotic songs were sung to honor all the different branches as well. They even honored the World War II veterans; there were only four there.
Edward Miknaitis served 30 years in the Marine Corps. He told News 11 about how the missing in action is the most difficult part for him when he reflects on the Vietnam War. It was a very emotional service with roses for the wives of veterans. They even had a special recognition to a wife whose husband is fighting overseas.
